How Emotionally Intelligent are leaders?

According to some, Emotional Intelligence is more important than IQ. If you take the EIQ-2 Assessment, you will find this statement at the beginning of your comprehensive assessment report: "Emotional intelligence is the ability to perceive emotions, to access and generate emotions so as to assist thought, to understand emotions and emotional knowledge, and to reflectively regulate emotions so as to promote emotional and intellectual growth (Mayer & Salovey, 1997). Research indicates that emotional intelligence can be learned and can be seen as measurable differences directly associated with professional and personal success. Furthermore, it may be responsible for up to 80% of the success we experience in life."

Here at Project Partners Consulting Inc., we have certified EIQ-2 practitioners who can administer the assessment and provide a comprehensive debrief to individuals, team members, leaders, and executives.
